In my mind, the Benninghoven is a pub hidden on a dark alley in between an art gallery and a club where live music pulses like the heartbeat of the night. In the benninghoven, you can relax with your friends and enemies over a beverage of your choice as the conversation reverberates like the drums and ideas emerge from the muses of the artists surrounding us. Veliko Tarnovo (?-Present)

Bulgaria declared independence from the Ottoman Empire on 22 September 1908. The declaration wasn’t read in Sofia but Veliko Tarnovo, the country’s former capital. Known as the “City of the Tsars”, Veliko Tarnovo has a purple flag with the city’s coat of arms on it.
